[Music] I Will Wait - Sam The Psalmist

US-based gospel musician and servant of God, Sam The Psalmist, has released a song titled 'I Will Wait'. This song was written from a place of eager anticipation, reflecting the artist's wait on God for His promise.

ABOUT THE SONG
“I Will Wait” was born from one of the most intimate and raw seasons of my life — a season marked by silence, delays, and what felt like unanswered prayers. As time passed, I wrestled with God’s timing versus my own expectations. There were days I felt weary, spiritually and emotionally drained, questioning whether the promises I was holding onto would ever come to pass. But in those quiet moments, I found strength in Isaiah 40:29–31

“He gives strength to the weary and increases the power of the weak… But those who wait on the Lord shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings as eagles, they shall run and not be weary, they shall walk and not faint.”

This scripture became my anchor. It reminded me that waiting on God isn’t passive — it’s a posture of trust, a decision to lean in when it’s easier to give up. I realized that true strength is found not in striving but in surrender.

“I Will Wait” is more than just a song — it’s my personal declaration of faith and perseverance. It’s for anyone who’s in the in-between, holding on to a word from God that hasn’t yet manifested. The song encourages fasting, praying, and standing firm in faith, not because everything is clear, but because God is faithful.

Through this anthem, I wanted to give voice to the waiting soul, to remind them — as I reminded myself — that those who wait on the Lord will indeed rise like eagles. Even if the promise tarries, He will come through. He always does.

cause he who promised is faithful
He who is faithful

while am waiting I will praying
So while am waiting I'll keep trusting you God
